Jun1949 Hisaeru Hino started air-conditioning operations and air conditioner manufacturing
at the company's current location.
Mar1951 Shinko Iron Works Co., Ltd. founded. Manufacture, sale and installation of heaters, driers, water heaters and air-conditioners initiated.
Jan1954 Research into specialized heat-exchangers begun. Official production of hot-water boiler and hot-air generators initiated through merging with engineering department.
Feb1958 Official name changed to Hino Iron Works Co., Ltd. Capital increased to 2,500,000 JPY.
Oct1964 Patent for counter flow heat exchanger acquired.
Apr1965 Patent for T-Valve to control liquid-fuel injection acquired.
Mar1967 Patent for cross-wave heat exchanger acquired.
Oct1969 Patent for evaporative condenser acquired.
Jan1977 Application for patent of a large plate heat exchanger (In collaboration with Hitachi Zosen Corporation) filed.
Jan1980 Branch office established in Minato-ku, Tokyo.
Apr1984 Capital increased to 10,800,000 JPY.
Mar1992 Shimaya Plant at "Techno Park Shimaya" in Konohanaku, Osaka completed.
Oct1997 Technical cooperation with German L&G Corporation for production and sale initiated.
Jul2002 Patent for tube -type heat exchanger dust adhesion prevention device acquired.
May2004 Wuxi Hino Iron Works Co., Ltd. founded in China.
Feb2008 Capital increased to 75, 800,000 JPY.
Jan2010 Capital pooled with Kasai Co., Ltd.
Apr2011 Official name changed to HINO-TEC Co., Ltd.
